PORTSMOUTH, N.H. – The Milton woman who had been on the run after being sought in connection with a Seacoast heroin distribution ring was arrested on Friday at a Portsmouth hotel.

Acting on a tip, Portsmouth Police located Chelsea Glover, 21, of 69 Charles St., at a hotel near the Portsmouth rotary.

Portsmouth Police Captain Michael Schwartz on Friday characterized Glover as a street-level dealer who had been spending time in Milton for at least two months.

Glover is the eighth suspect to have been arrested in connection with the sale of heroin during the sting. The other arrests were made on Wednesday by Portsmouth Police in conjunction with the state Attorney General’s Drug Task Force.

Grover is charged with one count of distribution of a controlled drug (heroin).

She is being held on cash bail and will be video arraigned on Monday at Portsmouth District Court.
