Police Rochester man threw dog against a wall

ROCHESTER - Rochester police on Friday afternoon arrested a man they say threw a dog up against a wall earlier this month.

Anthony Lane, 38, of 178 Jamey Drive, was charged with cruelty to animals in connection with the July 9 attack on Jamey Drive.

The crime of Cruelty to Animals for this case is a Class B Misdemeanor for the first offense and a Class B Felony for the second or subsequent offenses of this type.  

Police say Lane knew the dog.

Lane was bailed on $2,500 PR bail and is scheduled to appear for arraignment next month at the 7th Circuit – Rochester District Court.
