Police warn public about circulation of bogus $20s

ROCHESTER - Rochester Police are urging the public and businesses to be aware that bogus $20 bills are being passed at city businesses.

The counterfeit currency looks and feels legit, a post on the Rochester Police Facebook page states, but if you look at the back of the bill it is upside down compared to the real deal.

Police say they are actively investigating to find the counterfeit bill source, but in the meantime ask the public to be wary, especially with regard to the $20s.
