ROCHESTER - The Department of Public Works will be temporarily shutting off water service on Rebekah Lane today till around 5 p.m. to complete a gate valve replacement. During this time, residents may experience little or no water pressure.

Following the work, residents may notice air or discoloration in their water. This is caused by naturally occurring minerals disturbed during the shutdown, according to the DPW. If needed, please run a cold water tap for a short time to clear the lines.

For questions or concerns, please contact Public Works at (603) 332-4096.
