DOVER - Richard N. Shorey Jr., 84, of River Road died at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital on Tuesday April 16, 2024.
Richard was born July 30, 1939, in Rochester, the son of Richard and Marion (Bailey) Shorey. He has resided in Lebanon, Maine, most of his life. He worked for many years at Pratt-Whitney. He was passionate about building homes, restoring old cars, and going to car shows. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his family. Richard was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church in East Rochester.
Members of his family include his loving wife of 64 years, Janet (Hayes) Shorey, sons, Bruce and wife Jeanette, Brian and Brent and his wife Jennifer; daughter, Debbie and her husband Frank Lapierre; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
