Road closures, detours set for Dover Middle School Pumpkin Dash 5K

DOVER, N.H. - The city of Dover today announced the following road closures for the Dover Middle School Pumpkin Dash 5K run/walk event on Sunday.

Road closures:

· Exit 7 southbound on and off-ramps from the Spaulding Turnpike (8:45 to 9:15 a.m.)

· Bellamy Road, in the easterly direction between Durham Road and Sunset Drive (8:30 to 9:15 a.m.)

· Rutland Street between Cataract Avenue and Central Avenue (8:30 to 9:30 a.m.)

· Cataract Avenue (8:30 to 9:15 a.m.)

Motorists should expect delays at the Central Avenue/Mill Street/Exit 7 South intersection and a lane shift along Route 108 between Rutland Street and Bellamy Road. Dover police personnel and several event volunteers will be on hand to help manage traffic flow along the race route. This event starts and finishes at Dover Middle School, 16 Daley Drive.
