ROCHESTER - A 21-year-old Rochester man has been accused of felony drug trafficking of prescriptions drugs.
Rochester Police Capt. Todd Pinkham said that early the morning of Oct. 9 officers responded to a call for service that didn't involve Jeremy Robert Nesbitt, but when Nesbitt entered the premises police turned their attention to him.
"We responded to a call for service not immediately involving Nesbitt," Pinkham said on Tuesday. " While at that call for service, Nesbitt appeared and Officers learned he had some drugs on his person."
Upon a search police found Nesbitt had in his possession some prescription medication not prescribed to him. They also found what they believed to possibly be methamphetamine and cocaine, according to Pinkham.
Nesbitt was immediately placed under arrest and charged with felony drug possession and trafficking prescription drugs.
Both charges can result in three and a half to seven years in state prison apiece.
