BRENTWOD - A Rochester man has been indicted by a Rockingham County Grand Jury on one count of attempted drug trafficking and two counts of possession of a controlled drug with the intent to distribute.

Christopher Daly, 50, tried to sell a controlled drug by packaging a quantity of methamphetamine and traveling to deliver it to another individual on April 27, 2023, according to the indictment. On the same day, he allegedly possessed a quantity of methamphetamine in an amount greater than five ounces, and a quantity of cocaine in an amount less than one half ounce, with the intent to distribute.

An arraignment on these charges is pending at Rockingham County Superior Court.

An indictment is not an admission of guilt, rather that enough evidence has been presented to a grand jury to move forward to trial.
