Samuel Christman ... retired from Seabrook nuclear plant; at 85

DOVER - Samuel Jay Christman, born May 2nd, 1939, in Little Falls NY to his parents Howard and Agnes (Lodge) Christman, went home to his savior Jesus Christ on June 3rd, 2025. Sam had a generous serving spirit and enjoyed donating his time to the ministries of his Church.

Sam spent his early years in Little Falls where he married his high school sweetheart, Joan Dillenback, in 1962. He then joined the Air Force as an electrician and served in the Vietnam War. Later he was stationed on bases including Kunsan AFB in South Korea, Edwards AFB in California, Aviano AFB in Italy and finally at Pease AFB in Portsmouth NH. After serving 26 years he and his family retired to Nottingham, NH. He then worked at the Seabrook Nuclear Power Plant for 15 years.

Sam is survived by his wife Joan, his son Gary, his daughter Theresa and her husband Damon, and his daughter Carol and her husband James. He has seven loving grandchildren and two great grandchildren all of whom gave him abundant joy. Sam is predeceased by his son Steven and his sister Ann.
