Sanford man arrested in sex assault

SANFORD - A Sanford man was arrested on Tuesday and charged with gross sexual assault.

Zachary Garrison, 32, of 2 Manor Circle, Apt. 12, was arrested at his home.

Gross sexual assault is a Class A felony.

Garrison was transported to the York County Jail and is being held on $15,000 cash bail.

Sanford Police were not immediately available for comment.

Sanford Police are interested in hearing from any other potential victims of Garrison. Citizens are asked to contact the Sanford Police Department Criminal Investigation Division at 207-324-9170 and select option 4 if they have information for police.
