It looks like the third move's a charm for the Seacoast Gymnastics Center, who opened their first space at 10 North Main Street eight years ago.

"We started out with 6,000 square feet," said owner Sharon Bove of Rochester. "Then we moved to the Lilac Mall where we had 8,000 square feet. Now we have 15,000 square feet."

The latest move from the Lilac Mall, where the facility was sandwiched between various gaming rooms at the Lilac Club Casino, was completed earlier this month and Bove couldn't be happier with the move.

The newest version of the Seacoast Gymnastic Center, located at 104 Milton Road, the site of a former Rite-Aid pharmacy, is nothing short of night and day from its former digs.

"I love it," said Bove. "We have 130 feet of glass at the front of our place, and it make for a much brighter setting."

The parking lot out front, repaved during the summer, is a big improvement over the what they had behind the Lilac Mall.

Bove said the recent move has sparked a lot of interest in the gymnastics center, and many families have reached out to get more information on their services and classes.

The center currently has 300 students, including some 50 advanced gymnasts who compete around the region in different meets, and 10 teachers.

"With the new facility we hope to host some of those meets beginning next year,' Bove noted.

The center offers classes for children, from walking through high school.

The expansion also allows for a dedicated area for preschool-aged gymnasts, where parents can observe their children at all times.

It also features new floors, lighting, bathrooms, and fresh paint throughout.
