CONCORD - Secretary of State David Scanlan on Wednesday sent out a reminder for all corporations or LLCs registered in New Hampshire to file their annual reports with the Corporations Division by April 1.
Businesses that fail to file by the deadline must pay a $50 late fee and file their reports to return to "Good Standing" status.
It costs $100 to file an annual report with the Corporations Division. The easiest way to file is online through the Secretary of State's QuickStart dashboard. Businesses who do not have to update any information can do it using the "One Click" option. Filing online saves time and ensures the Corporations Division has adequate time to process and update filings.
The Corporations Division also accepts annual reports sent by mail or in person at its office on 28 School Street in Concord, NH. However, businesses that file their reports in person or by mail must request a form from the Corporations Division first. Annual reports sent by mail must be postmarked April 1, 2025, or sooner, to make the deadline.
There are over 150,000 businesses registered in New Hampshire, and more than 90 percent of them file their annual reports online.
