Signup for Community Development Block Grant Program begin today

ROCHESTER - The City's Community Development Division has opened applications for the 2027 Fiscal Year Community Development Block Grant Program, starting today.

The City is seeking projects that can begin in the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2027 (July 1, 2026, to September 30, 2026) and be completed before April 1, 2027.

Applications for CDBG Public Facilities and Housing Rehabilitation projects can be found on the City's Community Development Division page under "CDBG Public Facilities and Housing Rehabilitation App."

To sign up send an email notification of your intent to submit an application by April 3. The application deadline is 4 p.m. on April 24. All completed and signed applications must be submitted to the City's Community Development Coordinator, Kiersten "Kay" Wright, via email at kay.wright@rochesternh.gov. When reviewing the application, please make sure that any section marked "required" is completed, as incomplete applications will not be accepted.

It's also important to review the information concerning construction and/or public facilities project requirements. Any requirements listed under this section that apply to your project must be met in order to receive CDBG funding.
