The Coast Guard and Coast Guard Auxiliary have launched Operation Paddle Smart, which teaches small craft enthusiasts how to stay safe, be responsible, and help responders during an actual emergency.

The cornerstone of Operation Paddle Smart is providing owners of kayaks, canoes, standup paddleboards, and other unregistered watercraft a free "If Found" sticker on their boat to help reduce the number of unnecessary search and rescue cases. The stickers are weatherproof, retro-reflective, and provide room for the vessel owner's name and two phone numbers.
Contact Vice Commander Sean Skillings USCG Aux FL-24 atl 603-285-1838 or seanskillings@outlook.com for your sticker.

The decal & life jacket programs are a great thing.
Complaint from a town of Milton employee states the decals and life jacket reminders are as she put it "overbearing and pushy"- A typical reaction from the "live free or die state".There is no seat belt law in N.H. - SO THINK OF WHERE IT'S COMING FROM..
