ROCHESTER - City officials have released new rules regarding parking during snow emergencies.

The parking bans may be declared periodically throughout the winter season. During a Snow Emergency, no on-street parking is allowed for the duration of the ban. Parking will also be restricted in all City parking lots except those listed below:

  • 60 Wakefield Street (NAPA Lot)
  • North Main Lot (106 North Main Street)
  • Liberty Street Lot (14 Liberty Street)
  • Columbus Lot A (324 Columbus Avenue)

These lots are available for parking for the duration of the emergency.

Drivers are asked to remove their vehicles from the designated lots as soon as possible after the parking ban has been lifted.

For additional information regarding parking exemption qualifications and permits, contact the Rochester Police Department at (603) 330-7128.
