ROCHESTER - Sole City Dance brings adventure and artistry to Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island with upcoming ballet performances at the historic Rochester Opera House on Friday 7 p.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Based on the beloved adventure tale by Robert Louis Stevenson, Treasure Island tells the story of young Jim Hawkins, who sets sail on a perilous journey to find a legendary treasure with a crew of colorful characters. Sole City Dance's adaptation brings the story to life with a cast of talented dancers, intricate choreography, and stunning visuals.

But Treasure Island is much more than just a race for treasure. The story is infused with themes of love, loyalty, and the importance of appreciating the things that truly matter in life. From mermaids and romance to intrigue and action, this performance promises to be an unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages.
