Somersworth teen arrested in series of burglaries at local car dealership

SOMERSWORTH - A Somersworth teenager believed to have been the suspect in a series of recent burglaries at a Somersworth auto dealership was caught in the act late Wednesday night trying to commit yet another theft, police say.

Evans-Hewson Barrette, 19, of 26 Fremont St., was arrested around 11:30 p.m. at Kia of Somersworth on Route 108.

He was initially held at the Strafford County Jail pending an arraignment today at Strafford County Superior Court in Dover.

The investigation and arrest was conducted by members of the Somersworth Police Department including K9 Bravo.
