State police investigating death at I-93 welcome center

HOOKSETT - New Hampshire State Police are investigating after a person was found deceased at a Welcome Center on Interstate 93 in Hooksett.

Safety officials said that on Wednesday around 7:35 a.m. State Troopers located the body of an adult male inside a vehicle in the parking lot of the southbound rest area.

At this time, investigators say have no information to indicate the death is suspicious in nature. The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending an autopsy and notification of next of kin.

This case is being investigated in coordination with the New Hampshire State Fire Marshal's Office to determine if carbon monoxide was a factor.
