10-21-13 Tpr. Matthew Williams responded to a burglary on South Waterboro Road, Lyman.  The residence was ransacked but nothing appears stolen. Investigation is continuing.

10-22-13 Sgt. Robert Burke was directed to respond to the town of Amity on the Canadian border for a report of a barricaded male that was refusing to come out of his camper.  He had previously threatened another male with a rifle. 

Upon successful completion of the first activation the tactical team was re-directed to the town of Hollis, 338 miles south of Amity for a second activation involving a man that had shot the window out of his residence during a domestic dispute with his wife and subsequently barricaded himself inside of the trailer. ED HUTCHINSON, 50 y.o. of Hollis was arrested for Reckless Conduct With A Firearm and  Criminal Threatening both Class C Offenses.  Troop A Troopers who responded to Hollis:  Lt. Louis Nyitray, Sgt. Robert Nichols, Tpr. Robin Parker, Tpr. Jessica Shorey, Tpr. John Kyle, Tpr. Kyle Wells, Tpr. Jeremy Forbes, Tpr. Benjamin Smith, Tpr. Adam Schmidt, and Tpr. David Coflesky.  Tpr. Shorey was the primary negotiator for the incident.  This was Tpr. Shorey’s first assignment as the primary negotiator and she did an excellent job.

10-23-13 Tpr. Benjamin Smith responded to a theft at South Waterboro Road, Lyman.  A Coleman 7500 generator was taken from the yard during the past week. Investigation is continuing.

10-24-13 Tr. Adam Schmidt responded to a burglary in Lebanon.  The victim was ARLENE HALL (42 y.o.).  ARLENE has recently gone through a divorce with MICHAEL HALL (44 y.o.).  After investigating the incident, it was determined that MICHAEL is the subject of a protection order, where ARLENE is the protected party.  MICHAEL also has conditions of release, one of which states that he is not to be in the town of Lebanon, ME.  On 10-25-13 Tr. Schmidt conducted an interview with MICHAEL.  In the interview MICHAEL confessed to breaking into ARLENE’S home.  MICHAEL was arrested and charged with Burglary, Violation of a Protection Order and Violation of Conditional Release.  

10-27-13  Tpr. Jeremy Forbes arrested CHRISTINA LARRIVEE (35 y.o. from Hollis) for Burglary (four counts). LARRIVEE admitted to breaking into four homes on Landry Dr. in Hollis and stealing thousands of dollars’ worth of jewelry. Bail was set at $20,000.00.  

10-27-13 Tpr. Kyle Wells stopped a vehicle for a defective headlight on 202 in Lebanon. The vehicle was occupied by two males and a female. The male passenger, MICHAEL ONEIL (18 y.o.) of Rochester had an outstanding warrant in Maine. Tpr. Wells placed ONEIL under arrest and transported him to York County Jail without incident.

10-28-13 Tr.  Adam Schmidt concluded an investigation of a stolen motor vehicle that was reported as such on October 22, 2013.  The vehicle had been scrapped at Lambert’s Auto and Truck Recyclers in Rochester, NH on October 16, 2013. RICHARD DIXON JR. (DOB 3/6/1981) was charged with Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer Class C and Conditional Release Violation.  

10-29-13 Tpr. Kyle Wells arrested DERICK CHENETTE (31 y.o.) of Lebanon for Felony VCR. CHENETTE was transported to York County Jail without incident. Once at the jail, CHENETTE was found to have several Suboxone strips hidden in his shoes after he was patted down and admitted into the jail. Tpr. Wells charged CHENETTE with trafficking in prison contraband as well.
