ROCHESTER - The Strafford Wind Symphony has announced the 4th Annual Creepy Crawly Halloween Concert and Costume Gala to be held on Oct. 26 from 6:30-7:45 p.m. in the Community Room, at the James W. Foley Memorial Center Community Center.

Attendees will enjoy a selection of Halloween songs performed by the Strafford Wind Symphony, complete with accompanying videos. A highlight of the evening is the intermission parade, where children in their costumes will compete for the title of the most creative costume, with the winner earning the chance to conduct the Symphony in their final song.

"This concert makes the celebration of Halloween a joyous and family-oriented event," said Jeff Smith, SWS Artistic Director. "I hope many people will come to participate in our celebration."

In addition to the music and costumes, each child will receive a Halloween bag filled with individually packaged treats. The event is open to all ages, but it's particularly designed for families. The proceeds from this event will go toward supporting Gerry's Food Pantry and the Strafford Wind Symphony.

Admission is by donation, with a recommended minimum of $10 per child and parent. No advance registration or ticket purchase is necessary. For further information, interested individuals can contact Grant Kingsley at grant.kingsley@gmail.com or visit straffordwindsymphony.org.

The community center is located at 150 Wakefield St., Rochester.
