Strong winds, heavy rain could bring some holiday misery to Northern Seacoast

A flood watch is in effect for Strafford County from 3 p.m. today till 7 p.m. on Monday, with up to 2-4 inches of rain predicted along with damaging winds late tonight and early Monday.
Accuweather predicts up to 60 mph wind gusts in the Northern Seacoast along the Maine border.
The major storm is expected to make driving treacherous with the likelihood of localized flooding and power outages.
Homeowners with extensive holiday lawn displays should take note and either batten them down or remove them altogether
Winds will be strongest along the coast with gusts up to 70 mph expected.
The rain isn't expected to start in Rochester until around 2 p.m. with temps rising through the afternoon and evening. In fact, today's high of 58 won't come till 11 p.m.
By then winds coming out of the southeast should be at their strongest with gusts expected of 45 mph. They'll continue through the early morning hours before slowly subsiding.
