ROCHESTER - Susan Tarring, 72, of Nutter Street, died ON Oct. 27, 2023 at her home, with her husband and children by her side, losing her 5 year battle with Cancer

Born July 6th, 1951, in Boston to Robert and Helen (Burrows) Crossley.

Susan has lived in Rochester since 1981. She worked for the Rochester School dept for nearly 19 years, in the special ed programs at 3 elementary schools. She enjoyed bowling in the women's league and couples bowling as well. Sue and her husband Alan enjoyed traveling, visiting 40 different states in their motorhome. She would be described as a caring and loving wife and mother. She was a fighter, fighting cancer for over the past 5 years. She loved to spend time with her 6 grandchildren who always could put a smile on her face.

Members of her family include her husband of 50 years, Alan Tarring of Rochester, her son, Mathew Tarring and his wife Nicole of Arundel, Maine. Daughter, Cristina Goupil, and her husband Norman of Hopkinton, her six grandchildren; Owen, Max, Autumn, Noah, Isaac and Luke, her brothers Robert, David, Erich and Tom Crossley, her sisters; Barbara Ann Crossley-Hopkins and Jean Gilbride.
