ROCHESTER - The newest eatery at The Ridge could be the hottest spot in town for breakfast, brunch or lunch ... and for good reason.
In just two months since it opened in May it has become a tour de force among area foodies.
On weekends it's not unusual to see a line out the door onto Marketplace Boulevard, but we snuck in around noon on Thursday with just a five-minute wait, but even if it had been an hour, it still would've been worth it.
Even before we ordered we were impressed with the heavy, quality flatware, cloth napkins and general hustle and bustle ambiance that permeates the place.

Brunch Club's Reuben |
I got the "Oh Cheesus" sandwich, which as you can guess, was absolutely loaded with an abundance of swiss and cheddar cheese, topped with tomato, bacon and spinach on garlic bread.
Being gluten free I was pleasantly surprised when my garlic bread came out in impressive style, looking more like Texas toast than a typical flimsy gluten-free roll that disintegrates upon handling.
It came with an exquisitely ample serving of delicious french fries and authentic kosher dill pickle.
Meanwhile, Martha got the Reuben, which comprised slow-cooked corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and thousand island dressing on a grilled marble rye ... just like on "Seinfeld."
She also got the sweet potato fries with maple syrup. Mmm, mmm, good!
So the portions were more than doggie-bag worthy and the food was definitely worth the price.
My cheese extravaganza was $14; the reuben just $15.
The Brunch Club is located at 150 Market Place Blvd, #1.
