The ice racers cometh! For first time in years they'll be racing on Three Ponds

MILTON - Ice racing is back!
For the first time in several years New England Ice Racing Association will be holding its races today on Milton Three Ponds.
The races begin at noon and will include six divisions: 4-cylinder rear wheel drive, 4-cylinder front wheel drive, Street Stock, Modified, and a teenagers division composed of FWD & RWD 4 cylinders AND FWD V-6!, and a FWD V-6 division to round out the lineup.
Several food trucks and concessions will be on hand, including Lakeside Thai Kitchen.

The cost for spectators is $20 per car.
The race track is located at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in Milton.
To get to the campground from Rochester take White Mountain Highway into Milton and take a left at Townhouse Road. It'll be about a mile in on the left.
The official address is 111 Mitejo Rd, Milton, NH.

The New England Ice Racing Association (NEIRA) is a non-profit organization that has been racing for more than 40 years, though they've been unable to race due to temperatures in recent years.
Racing typically happens from January to mid-March as long as there is enough ice.
