NORTH HAMPTON - A rollover crash involving a travel trailer being towed by a pickup truck resulted in the closure of multiple lanes of Interstate 95 in North Hampton.

State Troopers responded 1:50 p.m. on Thursday to a report that a travel trailer being towed by a pickup truck had overturned on I-95 southbound near mile marker 7.6.

A preliminary investigation determined that Karen Lach, 74, of Waukesha, Wis., had been driving a 2025 Nissan Frontier pickup truck towing a 2025 Grand Design travel trailer along I-95 southbound when the travel trailer began to sway. Lach lost control of the truck and the travel trailer overturned blocking several lanes of the interstate, according to a Dept. of Safety press release on Friday.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash and no injuries were reported. As a result of the crash, the pickup truck sustained minor damage; however, the damage sustained by the travel trailer was extensive.

While Troopers investigated the scene and emergency personnel worked to remove the travel trailer and clean up debris associated with the crash, three lanes of I-95 southbound were closed for approximately two hours. The scene was ultimately cleared, and all lanes were reopened about 3:45 p.m.
