RINDGE, N.H. - Franklin Pierce University and the Boston Herald today released the most recent Presidential Poll for the Republican and Democratic candidates leading up to Tuesday's New Hampshire primary. The results show Senator Bernie Sanders lead over former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton narrowing from a 20-point lead last week at this time to a 7-point race today, with Sanders manitainigg a 51-44 percent lead over Secretary Clinton.
On the GOP side, Donald Trump has seen his 25-point lead over the rest of the GOP field shrink down to a 15 point lead. Donald Trump has also lost significant support - down to 31 percent - while Texas Sen. Ted Cruz moved up to 16 percent after his Iowa win, closely followed by Florida Sen. Marco Rubio at 15 percent, the poll of 433 likely GOP primary voters shows.
The race for the Republican primary in New Hampshire remains volatile and subject to possible significant movement in these final two days. While about one-half of Republican voters (59%) report that they have made a firm choice who they plan to vote for, 41 percent say they could still change their mind.
