Two aboard small plane die in fiery crash into Keene apartment house

KEENE - Two people died when the small plane they were in crashed into an apartment building just north of a Keene airport Friday night.

The plane, a single-engine Beechcraft Sierra, crashed into the apartment complex around 6:50 p.m., sparking a fire. No one was injured in the blaze.

Services at Keene Dillant-Hopkins Airport were not impacted by the crash.

The names of the people who died in the crash have not been identified.

The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate.

The plane was owned by Monadnock Aviation, which is based at the Keene airport.
