Two hurt, driver cited in 3-car Farmington Road crash

ROCHESTER - Two motorists were injured in a three-vehicle collision near Rochester Toyota early today.

The crash occurred around 7:45 a.m. in the area of Rochester Toyota on Farmington Road in when police say Joslynn Sprague, 34, of Rochester, was driving a Pontiac Grand Prix traveling south on Farmington Road when she struck a Toyota Sienna that was stopped in traffic at the entrance to Rochester Toyota.

The Sienna, operated by Mark Little, 41, of Farmington, was then pushed into a Mazda CX-9 operated by Paul Gatehouse, 61, of New Hampton, which was also stopped in traffic.

As a result of the collision Sprague and Little were transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with what were described as nonlife threatening injuries.

Farmington Road was reduced to one lane for a brief period of time in order for emergency workers to manage the incident.

The collision remains under investigation at this time but as a result of the investigation thus far, Sprague has been charged with a violation for Following to Close.
