Woman nabbed in shoplifting a 2nd time in 2 days

A Dover woman was arrested for her second shoplifting incident in as many days on Friday and is being held at the Strafford County House of Correction pending a Monday arraignment.

Carol Libby, 43, of 116 Washington St., Dover, was charged with willful concealment at the Rochester Kmart. The day before she had allegedly hit the Rochester Walmart and was freed on personal recognizance.

Libby’s bail was set at $500 cash. She was also charged with contempt of court and could face felony charges.

In a separate shoplifting incident, John Mills, 20, of 11 Ringer Drive, Somersworth, was charged with willful concealment at the Rochester Walmart in connection with a Jan. 10 incident.

Mills’ bail was set at $1,500 personal recognizance pending his arraignment next month at the 7th Circuit – Rochester District Court.

Somersworth Police assisted in his arrest.
