ROCHESTER - Yvonne Ruth Long Tilton, 85, died on Monday July 7, 2025, following a period of failing health.
Born December 25, 1939, in Rochester, she was the daughter of Frank and Janice (Jervais) Long.
Yvonne was a homemaker; she was a member of the Veterans Auxiliary and found comfort studying the Bible. She had a very strong relationship with God and a faith that so many found comfort in. She enjoyed watching birds outside or inside on TV. She loved taking care of her bird sweet pea. As much as she loved all animals, they loved her back. She had a gentleness about her where they felt safe and loved.
Members of her family include her children Deborah Weymouth and husband David, Wanda Tilton, Cindy Mountain, and Sonya Tilton, her grandchildren Heather, Rick, Glen, Jennifer, Justin, Shane, James, Curtis, Shania, Keith and Shannon, as well as sixteen great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Glen Tilton, her son Michael Tilton, two daughters Sharon Fisher and Laurie Tilton, her grandson Travis Southard, and two siblings Kerry Long and Sharon Barrett.
