Two injured in Cross Road accident

ROCHESTER - Two local residents were hurt in a two-car collision yesterday at the intersection of Betts and Cross roads.

According to police, a 2008 Nissan Rogue, driven by Tracy Tarr, 38, of  Gilmanton, was travelling east on Betts Road when her vehicle was struck by a northbound vehicle travelling on Cross Road. 

The northbound vehicle was a 2004 Honda Accord, driven by Tyler Lowell 27, old of East Rochester. Lowell and his passenger, Sarah White, 25, of Farmington, were transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital for evaluation of nonlife-threatening injuries. 

Both vehicles were towed from the scene due to extensive damage.  Betts Road was closed for approximately 20 minutes during this investigation.  

Tarr was summonsed for failing to yield.
